William C. Keefer was a member of the 5th Combat Defense Squadron. An elite cadre of Security Policemen with the United States Air Force, Strategic Air Command.  (1964-1968)

The mission was security of nuclear weapons aboard "Alert" B-52 bombers. Poised to take off and destroy the enemy, upon nuclear attack of the United States during the cold war.

Keefer, attained the rank of Sergeant, and was transferred to the Torrejon Air Base, in Spain, shortly after the loss of nuclear weapons in a B-52 crash. His duties expanded to Flight commander of law enforcement and security personnel of the 401st Security Police Squadron of the Tactical Air Command. Having 40 security policemen under his command.

Subsequently, after 4 years service, Keefer left the military and was hired by the United States Marshals Service.

Trained by the U.S. Justice Department as well as the U.S. Treasury Department, moreover, training by the U.S. Army bomb school (E.O.D.), Fort MacArthur, as a U.S. Marshal.

Deputy Keefer was the range officer and firearms instructor for the Los Angeles office, United States Marshals.

Keefer is not only an expert with small arms, and explosives, but was detail supervisor with the federal witness protection program, in California, New York and Rhode Island. Keefer volunteered service at Wounded Knee, 1973, with one of the last armed confrontations between the United States government and the militant portion of our Native American tribes. Other duties included Anti-air piracy duties at all of the airports in the Los Angeles area. Los Angeles International Airport, Burbank, Long Beach and Ontario airports.

Keefer left the U.S. Marshals service after many years, to open his "Specter Investigative Services" as C.E.O. and chairman of the board of his private investigations business, and qualified manager for Hoover Private Patrol, a private security force in the Southern California region.

Keefer was a Senior Financial Consultant with Security Pacific National bank of Los Angeles.  Subsequently he owned several manufacturing facilities in Orange County California.

Mr. Keefer was the executive director of the "Fraternal Order of Law Enforcement" , this was recently passed to Richard Johns, and is still a consultant with the association

Moreover, Keefer is a global Internet security consultant and an author of numerous copyrighted books on security and economics. 

Keefer is a Webmaster, since 1993, having multi-product line and service business ventures.

Keefer went undercover for three months to investigate the new car industry and uncovered valuable information for the average consumer. 

Other manuscripts written by Keefer are;  Personal Security Guide For Women by a U.S. Marshal, A Simple Vehicle Repair Guide for Women, and the book of his ventures as a U.S. Marshal  "In A Pig's Eye."  "REAL STORIES" of the United States Marshals Service.
